Our Auckland alcohol and drug rehab programme offers boutique recovery treatment tailored to the needs of the individual. A great ergonomic kneeling chair can ensure this alignment is safely supported to reduce back pain effectively.

About Our Programme

Our recovery programme is an intensive programme, with the average length of a guest’s stay being between three to four weeks. We also have a five-day respite treatment programme available. Our intensive treatment programme is designed to comprehensively challenge you and push you beyond your comfort zone.

Our Auckland rehab programme is not for the faint-hearted; the days are power-packed. On some days, you could have multiple one-on-one therapy sessions, group work, reflective studies, and be submerged into the AA/NA community by attending a meeting. However, over the 15-28 days of your stay, and by the end of your treatment, life's lenses will shift from a polarised black-and-white position into a multifaceted and coloured spectrum. Simply put, your perspective will change from the glass being half empty to half full (even overflowing).

To make sure you’re professionally supported, we provide a strong therapeutic community (TC). Our team members make up a strong family community, and collaboratively, we have written a treatment programme that can include the following:

  • Pharmacology

  • Psychological refocus

  • Individual identity work

  • AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) face-to-face therapeutic sessions

  • Mental health, cognitive behavioural, and dialectical approaches

  • Psychoeducation groups

  • Psychotherapy process groups

  • Transactional analysis ego-state work

  • Trauma and dissociation fragmentation work

  • Relationship therapy/family systems work

A Holistic Approach

We believe that complete healing requires us to look at all aspects of an individual’s wellbeing, including external versus internal processing and conscious versus unconscious dynamics.

Our alcohol and drug rehab treatment programme also strongly focuses on health and wellbeing; exercise is important, as is eating well and sleep hygiene.

The daily programme could comprise of the following:

  • Morning devotional group

  • Exercise

  • One-on-one therapy

  • Reflective meditation

  • 12 Step Work

  • Reflective studies

  • Self-reflective journaling

  • Massage

  • Free time

The following additional sessions will also be looked at to weave throughout the week:

  • Personality profiling - strengths and weaknesses

  • Emotional regulation group

  • WRAP Planning - specific weekly goals to achieve

  • Outside Speakers - sharing personal testimonies that show recovery-focused success!

  • Family systems therapy

  • 12 Step AA/NA evening meetings
